WPG Now Offers Web Meetings, Webinars

Business travel is expensive, but sometimes posting information to a website is simply too impersonal. Now, there’s a middle way— the Web meeting or webinar. With a Web meeting or webinar, you can:

meet and collaborate with colleagues and customers around the world,
give sales presentations from your Mac or PC, and
deliver online training.

Both Web meetings and webinars use Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) technology to connect people. All that’s required is that presenters and attendees have a relatively up-to-date computers and a broadband Internet connection. To hear the audio, attendees will need speakers.

Web meetings can connect up to 20 people with computers (with speakers and microphones) who can all interact directly with one another. Webinars can have up to 1,000 attendees, who can interact with the webinar’s presenters via a “chat” interface.

Web Publishing Group (WPG), Ann Arbor, MI is happy to announce that it is helping hospital patients recuperate in a more dignified manner while getting the care they need. How? By being part of the team that just recently released the website for RxPJs, a company that makes a unique line of garments for patients. These garments have an ingenious zipper design (patent pending) that accommodates IVs, casts, and bandages without the hassles associated with standard hospital gowns.

RxPJs.Com are the work of Blume Designs, a graphics design firm in Bloomfield Township, MI. WPG took the Blume designs and created the HTML and CSS needed to put those designs on the Web.

Web Publishing Group Launches Redesigned Website

ANN ARBOR, MI â€“ The Web Publishing Group (WPG), an Ann Arbor Web development company, redesigned and launched a Web site for Commercial Buliding Products, a trade magazine serving architects, owners, and contractors in low-rise and mid-rise construction. The URL for the site is www.cbpmagazine.com.

The new website makes it easier for users to access information on a wide variety of products, including lighting, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, security, roofing, and siding. For example, users can now search for products in several ways, including searching by product category or by keyword.

The website also has features that make it easy to maintain. The redesigned website includes a custom content-management system that allows the magazine’s editors to quickly add new product writeups to the product database. The system also allows them to add articles to the website once they have published an issue.
